The Health and Medical Care area consists of around 10 employees with various assignments in administration, project management, overall business development, planning, and follow-up.

The team supports officials within the health and medical care area management and the political leadership for health and medical care.

About the Job

As a business strategist, your mission will be to be the owner of the three care objects: care and health, diagnostics, and dental care within health and medical care. You will have overall ownership, which means you are responsible for ensuring that these objects are developed and managed in line with the organization's goals and needs, and that they deliver the greatest possible benefit to both the organization and patients. As an object owner, you will lead steering group work, prioritize efforts, and ensure that resources are used effectively. You will also be a member and an active part of various steering groups such as the steering group for Frenda (dental care system), Sussa care support steering group, dialogue forum, and local steering groups within Region Blekinge, where you contribute your expertise and drive development together with other actors inside and outside the organization to achieve the goals outlined in the object/business plan.

Region Blekinge's governance model for digitization is based on the pm3 model, and the total amount of assignments is managed collectively in a portfolio. The foundation for creating governability with the help of a collaboration model is that there is a clear division that describes what is to be governed and how this is grouped. The division is made from a business perspective, which means that the objects are formed based on what is done, often described as assignments, processes, and services. The management objects are divided into three types of operations: core operations, support operations, and IT operations.

Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a war position. Some of our services are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

About You

We are looking for someone with relevant academic education and/or experience in business development and/or IT management, preferably within the health and medical care sector. You have a good understanding of PM3 or similar management models and thrive in a role where you can lead, coordinate, and create results together with others. Experience in collaborative projects and change management is an advantage. You are communicative, structured, and have an easy time building relationships.
